Wisma Putra confirms no Malaysians involved in Turkish cable car accident

PUTRAJAYA, April 13 — No Malaysians were reportedly involved in Friday’s (April 12) cable car accident in Antalya, Turkiye, said the Foreign Ministry (Wisma Putra).

It is closely monitoring the accident via the Embassy of Malaysia in Ankara and the Consulate General in Istanbul, which killed one person, injured 10 and caused over a hundred others to be stranded on the cable car line.

“The Embassy of Malaysia in Ankara is actively coordinating efforts with local authorities to obtain further information,” said Wisma Putra.
