Kimanis by-election early voting begins

KIMANIS, Jan 14 — Nine early voters, comprising cops, will cast their votes for the Kimanis by-election in the operation room of the Membakut police station beginning 8am today.

The early voting centre will be opened till noon.

Early voting will be witnessed by candidates’ agents and observers appointed by the Election Commission.

The process will be broadcast live on the EC’s Facebook page.

The ballots will be kept at the Beaufort police headquarters lock-up, and counted after the end of polling on Saturday.

The by-election is a straight fight between Parti Warisan Sabah’s Karim Bujang and Barisan Nasional’s Mohamad Alamin.
