45 areas start receiving water supply in stages, says Air Selangor

SHAH ALAM, July 15 — Users in 45 areas within three districts in Kuala Lumpur, Gombak and Kuala Langat have started receiving water supply in stages until 12 noon today.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) corporate communications head Elina Baseri informed that water supply from Bukit Tadun Balancing Reservoir to the main pipe and pond started at 9am today.

“Restoration of water supply to the affected areas will proceed as scheduled according to the timetable that was issued earlier,” said Elina in a statement issued today.

Air Selangor advise users that have received water supply to use it wisely to ensure smooth distribution to other areas.

Upgrading works at Sungai Selangor Phase 3 (SSP3) water treatment plant (LRA), which caused water cuts in the Klang Valley, were completed on schedule at 11pm last night.
