Repair works on burst water pipe in Klang 92 pct complete

SHAH ALAM, July 22 — Repair works on the burst water pipe at the junction between Jalan Johan Setia and Jalan Langat in Klang has reached 92 per cent as of 8am today, says Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor).

Its head of corporate communications Elina Baseri said water supply has been restored in stages to areas in Johan Setia at 8am this morning as the repairs have been completed earlier than scheduled.

“The water supply to Pandamaran areas had been fully restored as the leakages of the pipes supplying water to the location have also been completed earlier than expected at 4am this morning,” said Elina in a statement today.

She said water tankers are still being mobilised to provide emergency water supply to the affected areas in Klang and Kuala Langat districts.
