Air Selangor: Water supply fully restored to all 63 areas in Petaling, KL

SHAH ALAM, Jan 1 — The water supply in all 43 locations in Petaling and 20 locations in Kuala Lumpur that was disrupted due to burst pipe repair works in Damansara Utama following landslides has been fully restored today.

Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor) said water supply to the affected consumers in Kuala Lumpur was fully restored at 9am, while users in Petaling received their water supply at 5.15pm.

“Air Selangor advises consumers who have received water supply to let water from the tap to flow until it is clear before daily use.

“We would like to thank consumers for their patience and cooperation during this unscheduled water supply disruption,” said Air Selangor in a statement today.

The water operator had also urged consumers to cooperate by reporting any leakage or broken pipe incidents in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya to ensure that remedial action can be taken immediately.
