SHAH ALAM, Feb 20 — Residents in Sections 7, 9 and 16 here are urged to undergo the Covid-19 community screening at the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) Dewan Melati in Section 9 today.

Selangor Covid-19 Special Task Force (STFC) Community Affairs Administrative Officer said the free screening starts from 9am to 4pm.

“We target between 500 to 1,000 individuals to undergo the screening.

“Residents of Shah Alam, especially in high-density areas, are encouraged to attend the screening,” he told SelangorKini at the MBSA Dewan Melati in Section 7.

Since last April, the Selangor government had initiated several mass community Covid-19 screenings in hotspots to curb the spread of the pandemic.

The state administration had also introduced the drive-through screening as part of its efforts to flatten the Covid-19 curve and identify more cases.
