MB, wife view community activities, development in Ampang

AMPANG, March 6 — Selangor Menteri Besar today visited the Ampang parliamentary constituency to see the community activities and development of the area.

Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari accompanied by his wife, Datin Seri Masdiana Muhamad started the tour with a walkabout session at the Kampung Dato Mufti Shuib morning market.

“There are residents and traders who complained about the problems they face. So I will discuss a few things with the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council about locals’ facilities and needs,” he said.

During the session, he also distributed 500 face masks and SelangorKini newspaper to traders and morning market visitors.

Amirudin also handed over financial assistance to the administration of several suraus besides handing over food baskets to low-income residents (B40).

“During the movement control order (MCO) implemented from last January, more than 63,000 food aid was distributed throughout the state,” he said.

The parliamentary constituency tour programme is the first session held this year.
