Amanah Youth Chief Shazni Munir dies

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 6 — Pakatan Harapan and Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) Youth Chief Shazni Munir Mohd Ithnin died today after battling Covid-19 for several weeks. 

Amanah president Mohamad Sabu, in a Facebook post, said Shazni’s death was a big loss. 

“It is a big loss to all of us. I am deeply moved over the loss of this young man, who was very close to me, 

“My condolences to the family, friends and Amanah supporters. May Allah bestow forgiveness upon him and may he be placed among the righteous,” the post read. 

According to a posting on Amanah’s official Facebook page, Shazni Munir, 34, leaves behind a wife and several young children.
