MB to help PKR candidates’ campaign in Johor

SHAH ALAM, March 10 — Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari will help Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) candidates gear up for the upcoming state election in Johor today and tomorrow.

Amirudin, who is also Selangor PKR chairman, has expressed his hopes for the Johor people to vote for PKR and Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidates as the move would enable the formation of a caring and responsible government in Johor.

InsyaAllah (God willing) I will join the PKR machinery in campaigning and gearing up for the election day on March 12.

“May PKR and PH be given the mandate from the people of Johor to form a caring and responsible government,” he said on Twitter today.

The Menteri Besar is slated to help the campaign at several constituencies including Larkin, Kempas, Tiram, Bukit Batu, Gambir, Bukit Naning, Semerah, Rengit and Layang-layang.

Previously, Selangor PKR had also participated in campaigning for PH during the Melaka state election last year.

A total of 239 candidates will contest in 56 constituencies in the Johor election this Saturday.
