Vintage Bicycle Fun Ride in Klang offers exciting prizes

SHAH ALAM, July 14 — Individuals who own classic bicycles have been invited to participate in the Vintage Bicycle Fun Ride, organised by the Klang Municipal Council (MPK) this Sunday.

Its corporate communication director Norfiza Mahfiz said the competition, held in conjunction with Car-Free Day will kickstart at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery and all the way to the Royal Klang Heritage Walk.

“The competition begins at 7am and it is open to all Malaysian citizens. All participants are encouraged to dress up according to the classic theme.

“The first 200 entries will have the opportunity to participate in a lucky draw, while six side prizes are offered for the classic bike category and the best theme clothing,” she said in a Facebook post.

Registrations can be made at https://forms.gle/KXi3pAP1GWbAC8SH7 which is open until July 16.

The programme is a collaboration between MPK and the Klang Selatan Royal Malaysia Police, which also offers various exciting activities including a T Baton demonstration, a sniffer dog show, a police uniform display and picnicking with police families.

Also included in the event are stage shows, beam bikes, free Royal Gallery visits, and a selfie competition.
