The historical event happened on the 1st of Muharram in a new Hijrah calendar year, as the year that the Prophet made the journey from Mecca to Medina was taken as the beginning of the calculation of the Hijrah calendar.
All Muslims, men and women are invited to attend the Majlis Ambang Hijrah state-level ceremony.
