MPAJ focused on collecting outstanding assessment taxes

AMPANG, SEP 29: Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) continues its operation to collect outstanding assessment taxes in the Chempaka and Bukit Antarabangsa Constituencies.
Yang Dipertua Abd Hamid Hussain said MPAJ targets 29 premises in Chempaka with RM398,056.28 in arrears; and 55 premises in Bukit Antarabangsa with RM918,819.32 in arrears.

“We are taking this action in order to collect all assessment tax due to MPAJ with a total of RM19.16 million,” he said in his opening speech at MPAJ Full Assembly Meeting at the Menara MPAJ here on September 29.
He said, the same operation, which had been held in Hulu Kelang constituency, managed to collect RM63,924.15 of assessment taxes in arrears.
Meanwhile in Teratai constituency, a total of 9 premises were inspected with RM87,349.38 in arrears and 20 premises in Lembah Jaya constituency with RM31,671 in arrears.
