Forest fire in Israel continue to spread

TEL AVIV, NOV 25: Residents in several towns near Jerusalem were evacuated when the wildfire which has entered its fourth day continues to spread in Israel.
The fire has now struck Beit Shemesh near Beit Meir and Shores cities and residents have been asked to vacate their homes.
Before that, on Thursday night, the Har Halutz community in the middle of Galilee was evacuated when fire in the Karmiel area became a threat to their homes.
Haifa city was reported as most affected so far with 85,000 residents in eight residential areas being evacuated.
Another forest fire was reported between Iksal and Nazareth Illit and firemen are in the midst of fighting the fire.

Before this, the Israel regime had to shamelessly asked for assistance from neighbouring countries to help with the fire crisis which had caused destruction in many areas.
The appeal for help was expressed by Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu and Public Safety Minister, Gilad Erdan who have requested Greece, Croatia, Cyprus and Turkey to send water-bombing aircraft to help put out the fire.
Cyprus, Russia, Italy, Croatia and Greece were amongst the first to extend their help followed by Turkey.
Israeli police’s aircrafts tried to put out the fire in dozens of areas but the situation was worse than expected and it was also beyond the capabilities of the Zionist regime.
Among the areas badly affected were the Jew’s illegal settlements in Nataf besides Karkom area near Tiberias.
A huge number of houses belonging to immigrants were reported as destroyed in the fire but no casualties reported so far.
In another development, Netanyahu has accused the Palestinians as the culprit who started the fire and had vowed to catch the responsible party.
It was understood that police had arrested eight individuals in the last three days, believed to be responsible for the incident.
