Selangor delegation visits Toyota Motor Corporation

JAPAN, NOV 28: The Selangor Government Delegation had a meeting with Toyota Motor Corporation (TMAP) senior management to discuss the prospects of Japanese investment in Selangor.
The meeting was led by Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and hosted by Toyota Business Unit President Shinya Kotera, TMAP Managing Director Satora Nakamura and TMAP Japan Deputy Director Yoshihito Kawamoto.
The meeting was also attended by Investment, Small & Medium Industries, Trade and Transport Exco Dato’ Teng Chang Khim and UMW Toyota Executive Director Ravindran Kurusamy.
The Selangor Government delegation’s visit began on November 24, arriving in Tokyo to continue the state and Invest Selangor’s investment mission to strengthen the Smart Selangor agenda.
The visit began with Dato’ Menteri Besar’s state visit to Fujisawa to view the smart city technological advances implemented in the area.

The delegation had visited the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry & Technology and Toyota Automobile Museum the day before the meeting.
They also visited Toyota Ecoful Town to view the development of a Smart City by Toyota.
Early last year, Toyota Motor agreed to expand its investment prospects worth RM2 billion in Bukit Raja, Klang.
