SHAH ALAM, DEC 1: Employees in government hospitals, including doctors, are advised to be professional and prioritise giving the best services to the rakyat.
His Royal Highness the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah ordered for doctors, officers and staff to be patient in meeting the needs of patients.
In his decree, he mentioned that citizens can only receive affordable and effective treatments in government hospitals.
“I appreciate the challenges and high level of patience required in a doctor’s job, particularly.
“Nevertheless I want this job and responsibility to be delivered with patience and high dedication,” he said while officiating the Shah Alam Hospital here.
Her Royal Highness Tengku Permaisuri Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin was also present.
His Majesty was also accompanied by Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and his wife, Datin Seri Shamsidar Tahrin.
He advised the public to be patient in getting health services.
He said that it is due to government hospitals having many patients and limited treatment rooms.
“Medical doctors and specialists are advised to continue to serve in devotion to the rakyat.
“The government must also protect the welfare of these employees by giving them incentives and special privileges, as they need to be given due recognition,” he said.
