SHAH ALAM – Duli Yang Teramat Mulia (DYTM) Raja Muda Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah, is pleased to see the signing of the Integrity Agreement between the Selangor Football Association (FAS) and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).
According to a statement on the Selangor Royal Office Facebook page, as the president of FAS,Tengku Amir vows to comply with the integrity guide book to curb corruption in the local football arena.
“FAS is the first team to create a strategic integrity plan where integrity guidebooks will be a reference to all Red Giants officials and players, these include members of the futsal squads, Youth Cup, Presidential Cup and Super League.
“The main content in the book includes explaining in detail the meaning of integrity and corruption.
“Among the early recommendations of the MACC in order to reinforce integrity among the players is to have the player’s cellphone taken and kept four hours before the match in order to avoid corruption or to arrange a match in the Malaysian League (Liga M),” the statement said.
