Covid-19: Bangunan Darul Ehsan closed for disinfection

SHAH ALAM, Dec 9 — The Bangunan Darul Ehsan here will be closed for two days starting today after an employee from an office in the building was found positive for Covid-19.

In a statement today, the Menteri Besar Selangor Incorporated (MBI) management said they were informed that the staff had last visited an office in the building on December 4.

“The safety of the employees and visitors is our priority. As a precautionary measure to curb the spread of Covid-19, the building will be closed from December 9 till 10 for disinfection work,” said the statement.

It also advised that all entering the building should adhere to the guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOP) that has been set.

Meanwhile, in a separate Facebook posting today, the Selangor Water Management Authority (Luas) said its office on level 11, 12 and 13 of Bangunan Darul Ehsan are closed for two days for disinfection operation to be conducted.

However, Luas said its operations such as its Ops Sumber Air and 24-hours monitoring of raw water sources are running as usual on site.

“Currently, all Luas employees are reported to be free for Covid-19. Luas will continue to follow the set guidelines to ensure the safety of our workers and visitors at our office,” said the statement.
