By Sheeda Fathil

SHAH ALAM, Jan 13 — The Selangor Zakat Board (LZS) has limited the operations of 13 of its branches in nine districts following the implementation of the movement control order (MCO) starting today.

LZS said the branches include Shah Alam Section 13, Shah Alam UTC Complex, Subang Jaya, Klang Mais Complex, Banting, Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi, Bandar Baru Bangi, Bandar Baru Ampang, Selayang, Kuala Kubu Bharu, Kuala Selangor and Sungai Besar.

“The operating hours will start from 10am to 2pm while the Shah Alam UTC Complex will operate from 8am to 5pm.

“The limitation to the operating hours does not affect monthly aid assistance to the needy as they will continue to receive assistance as usual,” LZS said over a Facebook post.

LZS added that the public who wish to check for assistance and zakat payment statements can log on to http://ezo.zakatselangor.com.my.

The zakat payment can also be done through online transactions by visiting http://fpx.zakatselangor.com.my or via internet banking.
