SHAH ALAM, Feb 3 — Selangor is soon setting up community quarantine centres to manage Covid-19 infection cases within an area.
Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the measure is crucial to ease the process of group isolation for Covid-19 positive patients.
“Discussions have been carried out between the Selangor State Health Department and state executive councillor for public health Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud.
“However, we require the cooperation from private hospitals to build them so that we can handle the overwhelming number of cases together,” said Amirudin.
He said this after visiting the temporary childcare centre (taska) for frontliners of the Covid-19 Quarantine and Low Risk Treatment Centre (PKRC) at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) 2.0 here yesterday.
