Over one mln people in Selangor have received two doses of Covid-19 shots — MB

SHAH ALAM, July 29 — A total of 1.04 million individuals in Selangor or 22 per cent of the state population have completed two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine as of today.

Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari in a Twitter post today stated that a cumulative total of 3.97 million vaccine doses have been administered to the Selangor people via the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK).

An infographic shared on his post showed that 2.93 million people in Selangor, or 61.7 per cent of the state population, have received their first dose.

Amirudin said an additional 151,884 doses were delivered via the Selangor Vaccination Programme (Selvax).

Earlier today, the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) shared in an infographic on Twitter stating the recorded daily vaccination rate in Selangor on July 27 is at 146,011 out of the total 552,701 doses of vaccines administered nationwide.

On July 18, Amirudin had said that the daily vaccination rate in Selangor would be able to reach 300,000 doses by the end of the month.
