HULU SELANGOR, Nov 6 — The Inisiatif Kemahiran Teknikal dan Ikhtisas Smart Selangor (IKTISASS) is one of the aspects offered to prospective job seekers during the employment roadshow programme Jelajah Selangor Bekerja 2021.

Up to 20 participants aged under 35 are qualified for IKTISASS, in tandem with the developments resulting from the Industrial Revolution 4.0, said Selangor Human Resource Development Centre senior executive Juraina Jumali.

With 10 vacancies left, the two-month programme which begins at the end of this month still remains open to registrations until the roadshow ends on November 27.

“The programme, in cooperation with leading artificial intelligence company Skymind, guarantees employment with a salary of over RM3,500 a month,” she said at the roadshow in Kuala Kubu Bharu, Hulu Selangor, earlier today.

The state government has allocated RM15 million through IKTISASS to complete the technical and vocational training education ecosystem, in addition to creating new job opportunities.

Meanwhile Proton Holdings Bhd has 200 vacancies available for production operators, since the roadshow programme began in October.

Its senior executive Shadeli Sham A Khalek said the company is also offering engineering positions, with research in interviews to seek qualified candidates.

“We remind participants to be prepared with all documents, asides from being neatly dressed. Companies also value this aspect,” he said.

Over 25,000 job opportunities are on offer via Jelajah Selangor Bekerja 2021, which runs from October 23 to November 27 across several districts.
