Selangor’s digital economy convention to feature singer Siti Nurhaliza

SHAH ALAM, Nov 5 — Popular Malaysian singer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin will make a special appearance at the 2021 Selangor Smart City & Digital Economy Convention (SDEC) which will run from November 19 to 21.

Siti, who is also a successful entrepreneur, will be showcasing her brand product, SimplySiti, according to the convention’s organiser Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation (Sidec) in a Facebook post yesterday.

The convention will also feature live streaming events that will feature Siti as the special guest of honour.

The state agency said the biggest digital convention, entering its sixth edition, would be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and themed “Digital Transformation Towards Economic Recovery”.

“2021 SDEC is an annual event under the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) which brings together industry players, academics, small and medium entrepreneurs (SMEs) and individuals from various sectors.

“They will share and showcase the diversity of digitisation for the digital economy and the future,” it said.

This year’s convention will be graced by Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, and state executive councillor for industry and trade Dato’ Teng Chang Khim.
