SHAH ALAM, Dec 1 — The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) has introduced the EzyPay app for the convenience of customers to check and pay their assessment taxes, traffic compounds, and business licenses.

Payment via credit cards, FPX, or e-wallets will save time with no additional costs for each transaction, said MBSJ’s corporate and strategic management deputy director Azfarizal Abdul Rashid.

“Customers can pay speedily without cash or queuing at the counter, by downloading the app from Google Play Store for free,” he said in a statement.

Azfarizal added the initiative is part of the Subang Jaya Strategic Plan 2020 – 2025, which includes its second strategy of transactions at one’s fingertips.

Overall, the transactions that can be made through EzyPay include compounds, deferred payments, collateral payments, licenses, building permits, restaurant waste, plot rentals, dog licenses, rental fees, water management, cemetery plot payments, hall or court rentals, and various other bills.
