Puspakom temporarily closes inspection centres in Selangor, Pahang

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 20 — Puspakom has decided to temporarily close a number of its vehicle inspection centres in Selangor and Pahang beginning today until further notice following the floods that hit the two states.

In a statement tonight, Puspakom said the affected centres in Selangor are Shah Alam, Glenmarie and Padang Jawa, while the Pekan and Raub centres will be closed in Pahang.

“For our customers who have already made appointments at the branches mentioned, the appointment fees will be refunded automatically within 30 days, dan customers are advised to ignore the appointment reminder if they receive one,” said the statement.

Meanwhile, customers who have made appointments but could not attend the inspection because of the floods can apply for a refund by emailing a request to [email protected].

Alternatively, it said customers affected by the closure can walk into the nearest branch and bring along their branch appointment slips of the branch involved as proof of the appointment.

“The re-opening of the branches will be notified later,” it said, adding that members of the public could follow Puspakom Sdn Bhd on Facebook or visit www.puspakom.com.my to get the latest information on its operations.
