Settle assessment tax before Feb 28, avoid fine — MBPJ

SHAH ALAM, Jan 25 — Property owners under the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) are reminded to pay their assessment tax before February 28.

The local authority, in a statement, informed that payment could be made through its counter or online and via its mobile app to avoid compounds.

According to MBPJ, the payment counter at its headquarters will also be open every weekend from 9am to 3pm throughout February to facilitate the transaction.

It said customers can also make payments at four Ez-Pay counters in Sri Damansara, Taman Megah and Damansara Damai from 10am to 3pm during specified weekends.

“Customers who come are advised to comply with the standard operating procedures (SOP) set by the National Security Council (NSC).

“The public is also encouraged to pay taxes through the [email protected] website or via the ecukai@mbpj application which can be downloaded through Google Play Store and the Apple App Store,” said the local authority.
