Selangor halal conference to draw a hundred exhibitors’ participation

SHAH ALAM, Feb 23 — Forty companies featuring 100 exhibitors will take part in the Selangor Halal International Conference (Selhac) which is slated to be held at the Shah Alam Convention Centre on March 4.

State executive councillor for halal industry Mohd Zawawi Ahmad Mughni said the exhibitors are from six clusters, including food, pharmaceutical, beauty, tourism, fashion, and halal ingredients.

“The conference will be held for three days until March 6, from 10am to 9.30am, involving three components such as forum, expo, and business matching session,” he said when contacted by SelangorKini yesterday.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari is expected to officiate the event on March 4.

Organised by the state government, Selhac will see participation from both local and international industry players. The public is welcome to visit the event for more information on the halal industry.
