GOMBAK, April 9 — Local authorities play a vital role in drawing more entrepreneurs in Selangor to join the Selangor Platform (Plats) 3.0, said Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.

He said doing so will enable the programme to meet its target of 10,000 Selangor entrepreneurs joining the platform.

“We already have cooperation with local authorities who are responsible for connecting hawkers to the app especially for the Ramadan bazaars, to join the programme being carried out.

“Plats is a platform to transform business. So we hope the platform will attract the interest of more entrepreneurs,” Amirudin said.

The Menteri Besar was speaking at the Sungai Tua state constituency Bubur Lambuk Perdana programme, at the Kampung Wira Damai Village Community Management Council (MPKK) Hall earlier today.

Menteri Besar (Incorporated) or MBI is the catalyst for Plats 3.0 which is implemented by Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad (PNSB) via Rakan Digital Selangor (RDS)

Plats 3.0’s implementation also involves the cooperation of 12 local authorities in helping to expedite the participation of traders and entrepreneurs.

The platform was introduced during Ramadan two years ago to complete the Selangor Digitalisation Agenda ecosystem involving entrepreneurs through a single digital platform.

On April 11 last year, Plats 2.0 was launched to aid traders generate income full-time rather than being limited to the fasting month only.
