MBSJ offers free bulk waste collection for Aidilfitri

SHAH ALAM, April 14 — The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) is offering free bulk waste collection in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, beginning April 19 until April 30.

Sinar Harian reported MBSJ Corporate and Strategic Management Department deputy director Azfarizal Abdul Rashid as saying the service will be provided by KDEB Waste Management Sdn Bhd (KDEBWM).

“The service is only catered to terrace housing areas where the residents can submit their applications to KDEBWM starting from April 18 until April 25 by calling 03-80814437 or send a WhatsApp message to 011-35574437.

“The bulk waste collection will include mattresses, old furniture, electrical appliances and others. Renovation items, recycling items and moving-out items are not included in the services,” he said in a statement.

Azfarizal added priority is given to residents who are preparing to celebrate Aidilfitri.

“The service will only be carried out according to the time set by MBSJ. KDEBWM will not carry out any bulk garbage collection beyond the stated date,” he said.
