Lembah Pantai’s Fahmi Fadzil offers free e-hailing services following LRT disruptions

SHAH ALAM, Nov 11 — Incumbent Lembah Pantai MP Fahmi Fadzil is offering free e-hailing services, starting today until next Tuesday (November 15) to the people.

He said the initiative was introduced due to the closure of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) services on Wednesday (November 9).

“Every day, beginning today until November 15, some e-hailing drivers in Lembah Pantai have come forward to offer help in ferrying people from the University LRT station to their intended destinations as far as Pasar Seni,” Fahmi said in a Facebook post.

The service is available only at peak hours from 7am to 9am, and 5pm to 7pm.

He wished everyone safe and quick journeys during these trying times.

Previously, Prasarana Malaysia Berhad said LRT services between Kelana Jaya and Ampang Park stations will be suspended for seven days starting at 6am on Wednesday, after taking into account passenger safety and the time it will take to identify the cause of the service disruption.

Fahmi is currently campaigning to defend his seat in the ongoing 15th general election, facing off against Barisan Nasional’s Ramlan Askolani, Fauzi Abu Bakar from Perikatan Nasional, and Parti Pejuang Tanah Air’s Asmah Razalli.
