SHAH ALAM, Nov 4 — The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has forecasted rain tomorrow morning, which will encapsulate nine parliamentary areas in the state, as the 15th general election (GE15) kicks off tomorrow with its nomination day.
In a special weather forecast, the agency said the parliamentary areas include Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Klang, Kuala Langat, Sungai Besar, Tanjong Karang, Kapar, Kota Raja, and Sepang.
Meanwhile, the parliamentary areas of Hulu Selangor, Gombak, Pandan, Bangi, Subang, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Selayang, Ampang, Hulu Langat, Puchong, Damansara, and Sungai Buloh are expected to see cloudy weather instead.
MetMalaysia added the whole of Selangor is expected to undergo thunderstorms and heavy rains later in the afternoon.
Similarly, all of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya are expected to see cloudy weather in the morning, followed by thunderstorms and heavy rains in the afternoon.
The agency also forecasted similar weather patterns in the states and territories of Johor, Kedah, Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Sabah, Sarawak, Terengganu, and Labuan.
All of Penang and Malacca should also see rain in the morning, followed by thunderstorms and heavy rains in the afternoon.
Malaysia will see the nomination of GE15 candidates tomorrow nationwide, which involves 222 parliamentary seats and 59 state legislative assembly seats for Perak, 42 seats in Pahang, and 15 seats in Perlis.
