Sultan Ibrahim visits grave of Tunku Abdul Jalil

JOHOR BAHRU, Dec 5 — The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar visited the grave of his son, the late Tunku Laksamana Johor, Tunku Abdul Jalil, at the Mahmoodiah Royal Mausoleum, here today.

In a posting on his official Facebook page which was accompanied by several pictures, the Ruler was seen pouring scented water and scattering flower petals on Tunku Abdul Jalil’s grave.

“The late Tunku Abdul Jalil who was born on July 5, 1990, was the fourth child of the Sultan of Johor and the Permaisuri of Johor, Raja Zarith Sofiah Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah. Tunku Abdul Jalil died on December 5, 2015, at the age of 25.

“The Tunku Laksamana Johor Cancer Foundation (YKTLJ) also held a Yasin recital and tahlil ceremony this morning,” according to the post.

Present were YKTLJ director Colonel (Rtd) Datuk Mohamed Perang Musa and YKTLJ chief executive officer Mohd Ikmal Izam Zaini.
