Bandar Utama donates over RM53,000 to mosques, suraus for Ramadan progs

SHAH ALAM, April 14 — The Bandar Utama state constituency has distributed more than RM53,000 to four mosques and eight suraus in its area, in conjunction with the ongoing Ramadan fasting month.

Its state assemblyman Jamaliah Jamaluddin said the funds are meant to to help mosques and suraus carry out religious programmes, alongside various other activities.

“I hope the management of the mosques and suraus can fully utilise these funds to organise programs for the benefit of the local congregants.

“The Bandar Utama state constituency office is prepared to cooperate in ensuring such programmes will run smoothly, not only during the month of Ramadan, but throughout the year as well,” she told SelangorKini.
