Higher Education Ministry organises JOM MASUK U prog in six zones

PUTRAJAYA, May 12 — The Higher Education Ministry (MOHE) will organise a JOM MASUK U 2023 (JMU2023) programme from May 20 to June 5 in six zones, to promote information on education programmes offered by institutions of higher learning under the ministry.

The ministry said in a statement today that roadshows for the programme will be held in the six zones, including the South zone at the Arena Larkin Indoor Stadium in Johor Bahru, Johor on May 20, the Sarawak zone at Time Square Megamall Bintulu, Sarawak (May 21), the Sabah zone at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Main Lecture Complex 2, Sabah (May 27),

For the North zone, it will take place at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia’s (UiTM) Kedah branch, Perdana Hall (May 28), the East zone in Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) Sultan Mizan Hall, Terengganu (June 3 and June 4) and the Central zone in Universiti Malaya (UM) Tunku Canselor Hall, Kuala Lumpur (June 4 and June 5).

The programme is targetting students who have taken their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), matriculation, foundation, Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM), diplomas and other equivalent examinations, the ministry said, adding that they could apply or update their UPUOnline® applications that would be open for Phase Two from May 15 (12pm) till June 9 (5pm).

The institutions of higher education under the ministry include public and private universities, polytechnics, community colleges and public skill training institutes.
