MB attends student seminar on crime, career in law enforcement

SHAH ALAM, Aug 10 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari attended the state-level Malaysia Madani seminar on human development and character-building at the Ideal Convention Centre yesterday.

Organised by the police and the Education Ministry, the seminar was officiated by Home Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail. Also in attendance was the Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain.

Beginning in the morning, over 2,000 participants, including secondary school, college and university students, attended the seminar.

They were exposed to various issues, including cyber fraud and sexual crimes, along with a question-and-answer session with the nation’s police leadership.

Participants were also provided with information on potentially pursuing careers in law enforcement, and the importance of integrity to its personnel.
