SHAH ALAM, Sept 1 — Universiti Selangor (Unisel) and education organisation Kids Campus Sdn Bhd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the further development of careers in early childhood education.
Unisel’s corporate communications director Hasril Abu Hassan said via the MoU, both parties will work to assist and support each other in various aspects, including providing internship placements for students from Unisel’s Department of Early Childhood Studies.
“Kids Campus Sdn Bhd, with over 38 years of experience in the field of childcare and early childhood education, is a kindergarten that focuses on the early development of children.
“Unisel will cooperate in carrying out research to help address teaching-related issues. Kids Campus will prioritise Unisel in organising activities, seminars, and courses related to child development,” he said in a statement.
The signing ceremony occurred in the Senate Meeting Room at Unisel’s Bestari Jaya campus on Wednesday (August 30), with the university’s president cum vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Mohammad Redzuan Othman representing Unisel and Kids Campus’ chief executive officer Rijalul Fauzi Mustapa representing his organisation.
The witnesses include the registrar Rokma Mat, Unisel’s vice president and deputy vice-chancellor (student development and community network) Assoc Prof Hamdan Mohd Salleh, Kids Campus’ business and collaboration director Muhammad Shukri Nor Mokles, and the university’s Faculty of Education and Social Sciences’ management team.
