Unisel recognised as competitive institution, drive for quality education

SHAH ALAM, Sept 2 — Universiti Selangor (Unisel) has successfully achieved a competitive rating under the Rating System for Malaysian Higher Education Institutions (Setara) 2022.

Its corporate communications director Hasril Abu Hassan said Unisel is one of the 90 higher education institutions (IPT) in Malaysia to receive this recognition.

“Setara is an assessment system aimed at measuring the quality assurance and standards of public universities, private higher education institutions (IPTS) in the university category, and university colleges.

“The assessment is conducted based on instruments and indicators established to promote the enhancement of quality education,” he said in a statement on Facebook today.

Hasril also congratulated Unisel’s management team and members under the leadership of its president cum vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Mohammad Redzuan Othman.

“May the Unisel community continue to remain competitive and strive for more successes in the future,” he said.
