Queen, Tengku Permaisuri visit crafts expo

SHAH ALAM, Oct 24 — The Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin recently graced the 2023 Arts and Crafts Expo in Bukit Jalil, which took place on Saturday (October 21).

In a Facebook post, the Selangor Royal Office said Her Royal Highness accompanied Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah in officiating the event at the Pavilion Bukit Jalil Exhibition Centre.

Themed ‘The Tunku Azizah Handmade Market: A Home For Malaysian Crafters,’ the expo featured the work of local artists and craftsmen nationwide.

It highlighted the efforts of over 300 local craftsmen and A Home for Malaysia Crafter Club members, who showcased artistic creations from various fields, including textiles, forest products, metalwork, and various crafts.
