SHAH ALAM, Dec 8 — Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Bhd (KHSB) will develop over 2,300 units of affordable terraced housing in Bernam Jaya, Hulu Selangor, next year.
The state property developer is a subsidiary company of Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated).
Its chief executive officer Rahana Abdullah said the 77.29-hectare project will take about five years.
“We are waiting for approval from the relevant parties to start construction by the middle of next year,” she told the press at KHSB’s rebranding exercise officiated by Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari today.
KHSB is also in a joint venture development with Paramount Property Development Sdn Bhd to build 2,091 serviced apartment units in a project called The Atera in Petaling Jaya.
“The project has three blocks, with the first block undergoing construction since last year, of which 60 per cent have been sold.
“We expect the project to be completed within eight years,” Rahana said, adding that both projects have a combined gross development value of RM1.5 billion.
KHSB will also launch affordable housing in Bukit Cherakah, Shah Alam, next year.
