Changes to four Smart Selangor bus routes in Hulu Selangor from Jan 1

By Selangor Journal Team

SHAH ALAM, Jan 3 — Four Smart Selangor Bus routes within the administrative jurisdiction of the Hulu Selangor Municipal Council (MPHS) have been rearranged starting January 1.

The local council in a Facebook post yesterday stated that the affected routes are HS01 (Kuala Kubu Bharu – Rasa-Bukit Sentosa) dan HS02 (Antara Gapi – Batang Kali – Antara Gapi), HS03 (Bukit Sentosa – Crocodile River – Bukit Sentosa) and HS04 (Bukit Sentosa – Taman Bunga Raya–Bukit Sentosa).

“The restructuring measures align with the growing demand and accessibility trends of the Smart Selangor Bus service, particularly in the Hulu Selangor district.

“For further inquiries, please contact the MPHS Town Planning Department at 03-60641331 (ext 123) or email [email protected],” the post read.

Previously, state executive councillor for investment, trade and mobility Ng Sze Han said that there is an ongoing comprehensive study and coordination with the Transport Ministry to improve the quality of public transport in the Klang Valley, focusing on the bus routes.

The review includes exploring on-demand transit (DRT) services as potential alternatives for the Smart Selangor buses in densely populated areas and on narrow routes.
