Unisel offers children, residents of Selangor access to its foundation programmes for free

SHAH ALAM, Jan 24 — Universiti Selangor (Unisel) is offering free tuition fees for all Foundation programmes for new student intake this April.

Unisel said the offer is only open to children and residents via initiatives provided by the State Government.

“The advantages of the Foundation programmes at Unisel are free tuition fees worth up to RM12,000 and a safe study period of one year or three semesters.

“Students will also enjoy a safe and conducive campus atmosphere, and student residences with apartments for only RM200 a month as well as study programmes accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA),” he said in a post on Facebook.

Previously,  Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the employability of Unisel graduates has continued to increase; it recorded a graduate employment rate of 95.7 per cent in 2022, higher than the national average of 90 per cent.

The achievement has allowed the university to be ranked 15th out of a total of 360 private higher education institutions in the country.
