SHAH ALAM, SEP 14: United States lawyer, Kimberley Motley has offered to help Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim for free as she is confident that there is an abundance of evidence that proves the KEADILAN de facto leader’s innocence.
KEADILAN Vice President Nurul Izzah Anwar said that Kimberley believes that Anwar should be given the proper legal representation.
“International lawyer Kimberley Motley, who has worked in Afghanistan since 2008, has offered to help Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim who deserves to be defended.
“She has offered her services on a pro bono basis,” Nurul Izzah told SelangorKini.
She said that Kimberley has extensive experience defending victimised girls and political prisoners in Afghanistan.
Nurul Izzah said that she was informed that Kimberley has also received cooperation from several local lawyers to procure files and facts regarding the case.
