KUALA LUMPUR, FEB 7: Despite being in prison, the KEADILAN General Leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim still thinks of the citizens’ fate, being oppressed under the Umno-Barisan Nasional (BN) regime administration.
KEADILAN Deputy President, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali said that was evident when Anwar still took the time to discuss the best strategy to free the nation from Umno-BN’s grip in the coming 14th General Election (GE14).
“Datuk Seri Anwar’s message was on the strategy and many other developments, which we discussed, besides me becoming the witness for his case.
“Every matter was discussed but most importantly we need to unite, as we surely want to be more organised and prepared to face the election,” said Mohamed Azmin to the media, at the Kuala Lumpur High Court Complex, yesterday.
Mohamed Azmin who is also the Dato’ Menteri Besar Selangor was present in the Kuala Lumpur Civil High Court to give statement regarding the defamation suit filed by Anwar against Umno Youth Leader, Khairy Jamaluddin.
Mohamed Azmin said Anwar had also touched on issues faced by the citizens such as Felda settlers’ issues and many others, which need to be addressed.
