MDKL pledge Ikrar Bebas Rasuah

SHAH ALAM, AUG 21: The Kuala Langat District Council (MDKL) has followed the footsteps of other local authorities by signing and pledging to the Ikrar Bebas Rasuah (IBR), recently.
Its Yang Dipertua, Mohamad Zain A Hamid said it is MDKL’s commitment to seriously combat corruption, power abuse, embezzlement and strengthen integrity.
“On the awareness to practice integrity daily, we believe that transparency is an element that can create a more conducive work environment and value culture in MDKL.
“MDKL will not compromise of any of our staff are found to be involved with corruption which can affect our reputation,” he said after the IBR Signing Ceremony with Malaysian Anti-Corruption Corporation (MACC).
In 2015, MDKL formed an integrity unit whose role is to ensure an effective administration with integrity in line with the National Integrity Plan.
At the same time, Mohamad Zain called on all MDKL staffs to maintain their ethics, integrity and make efforts to improve.
“I want MDKL employees to put their work first compared to other non-beneficial and unimportant matters,” he said.
