Lively celebration for Karnival Sihat MPS

SHAH ALAM, SEP 21: Over 3,000 people had liven up the Selayang Municipal Council’s (MPS) Karnival Sihat Selangor and Malaysia Day Celebration recently.
The MPS Corporate Department Director, Mohamad Zin Masoad said they encourage the public to adopt a healthy lifestyle and diet to stay fit, for themselves and their families.
“Various activities were line-up on that day among which were 10,000-steps walk, Selangor Children Heritage Fund (TAWAS), mammograme screening, healthy food promotion, blood donation programme and dengue awareness programe.
“Besides that, among the the programme’s main objective is to encourage applications for the State Government’s Skim Peduli Sihat,” he said in a statement.
Karnival MPD
There were also a handing-over of aerosol cans to public transport drivers at the Rawang Bus Stations in conjunction with the Spray Before Operating Campaign.
“This campaign aims to ensure all public transports are free from Aedes which carries Dengue,” he said.
Also present was Health, Welfare, Women and Family Development Exco, Dr Daroyah Alwi and other council members.
