MB extends condolences to family members of Covid-19 patients

SHAH ALAM, March 27 — Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari expressed his condolences to the family members of two Covid-19 patients who died in the state.

The two victims were the state’s first two fatalities due to Covid-19.

“My condolences to the family members of both victims,” Amirudin said via his official Twitter account yesterday.

He reiterated his advice to the public, especially the people of Selangor, to remain compliant and disciplined in adhering to the movement control order (MCO), which has entered its 10th day.

“We must win in this struggle,” he said, referring to the fight against Covid-19.

As of noon yesterday, 235 new cases have been reported, bringing the number of positive Covid-19 cases in Malaysia to 2,031, with 23 deaths.
