Unisel taking steps to protect staff and students

By Aliff Fikri

SHAH ALAM, April 16 — Temperature checks are being conducted at the entry points of the University of Selangor (Unisel) campuses in Shah Alam and Bestari Jaya as a precautionary measure to protect the staff and students during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Its Corporate Communication director Hasril Abu Hassan said visitors with high temperature would not be allowed to enter the premises.

“The staff, students and public who want to enter the campus will be screened at all times.

“The security personnel have been tasked to carry out temperature checks,” said Hasril.

He added the initiative would also expedite the government’s effort to contain the Covid-19 infection.

“This would indirectly raise awareness among the staff and public to continue to look after their health,” he said.
