Selangor back to double digits with 11 new Covid-19 cases

SHAH ALAM, Sept 28 — The number of Covid-19 positive cases in Selangor returned to double digits with 11 new cases recorded yesterday, says the state operation centre.

The data provided by the state agency showed five cases registered in Hulu Selangor, followed by Klang (3), Petaling and Hulu Langat one case each, and one imported case.

This brings the accumulated number of cases in the state to 2,235 with 19 active cases. The death toll remains at 24.

Yesterday, a total of 150 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in Malaysia, with three new clusters detected and one death reported.

This pushes the cumulative total number of cases in the country to 10,919 and the death toll to 134.

Of the 150 new cases, 146 were local transmissions involving 124 Malaysians and 22 foreigners while the other four were imported.
