SHAH ALAM, March 3 — Bandar Utama constituency is organising a series of online interviews in conjunction with the Women Lead #ChooseToChallenge campaign from March 1 to 20.

Its assemblyman Jamaliah Jamaluddin said the campaign aims to recognise women’s leadership and help them understand their role in various fields or backgrounds.

“There will be nine series of interviews through my Facebook that introduces women leaders from various groups.

“We hope this partnership can inspire all women to have the courage to move forward and meet the challenges towards harmonious gender equality,” she told SelangorKini.

According to her, women in this era should rise and play an important role not only in household management but to the level of leading the country.

“Hopefully this programme will get the support of all parties as well as provide awareness on the role of women in a leadership institution,” she said.
