State Legislative Assembly passes two motions, nine statements

SHAH ALAM, Dec 9 — The Selangor State Legislative Assembly has passed two motions and nine statements today, which have been met with unanimous agreement by all assemblymen.

Speaker Ng Suee Lim said the two motions are the Selangor Youth Policy Proposal 2020 and the Proposed Amendment to the Standing Rules of the State Legislative Assembly.

“The Selangor Youth Policy Proposal 2020 was brought by state executive councillor for young generations Mohd Khairuddin Othman, while the Proposed Amendment to the Standing Rules of the State Legislative Assembly was brought by state executive councillor for trade Dato’ Teng Chang Khim,” he said when met today.

The nine approved statements are:

  • The gazettement of water resources and infrastructure as prohibited places/areas/important targets.
  • The application for the issuance of strata titles for hotel buildings.
  •  The functions and role of the district offices and other agencies, in relation to the management and gazettement of villages, as well as the implementation of a special enactment.
  • The performance of the transaction counter at the Selangor Lands and Mines Office.
  • The poor category and providing assistance for the poor.
  • The work of the special select committee on poverty eradication.
  • A statement related Darul Ehsan Facilities Management Sdn Bhd.
  • The issue related to the enforcement on unauthorised factories, after the end of the unauthorized factory compliance and enforcement programme.
  • The status on the construction of the Taman Putra Perdana project by Permodalan Negeri Selangor Berhad.
