School infrastructural recovery assistance to remain open until June 5

SHAH ALAM, May 11 — The state government is inviting schools in Selangor to apply for aid to repair and construct the infrastructure of their respective institutions.

The Selangor State Secretary’s Office said the offer is open to national primary and secondary schools, starting on April 29 until June 5.

“Applications must be made by either the school, the board of trustees or the Parent-Teacher Association via the website https://www.ssipr.selangor.gov.my,” it said in a Facebook post.

On March 17, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said the programme is offering assistance in repairing or funding the construction of new infrastructure for the applicant schools.

He said the initiative is proof of the state government’s drive to always prioritise the education agenda in the state.
